Iraqi Dental Association….. . Submits its Greeting and Start with this Informational openness … to know nearly about all the information you want.

It’s an establishment of civil society that contained ten thousands of dentists graduated from different world universities most of them are from Baghdad University- Dentistry College and other colleges of Dentistry in Iraq (Al-Mousil- Arbeel – AL-Sulymania – AL-Anbar –Al-Mustansryia – Babylon -Takreet).

This Association which established in 1970 after it is separation from association of medical occupation work is aimed to raise the dental occupation, scientific and social level for their members and offer scientific materials to cope with development of this occupation in world.

The project of thisDental Association is to work in faithfully to collect all colleagues and make them in one union not according to section or nation or party… it’s a union for Iraqi Dentists.

Iraqi Dental Association entered in World Dental Association from the beginning of its establishment as an establish member for Arab Dental Association… in our new Iraq which we want to be develop to all life field… Union aims work hardly to be in first line to bear the flag of democracy to be in all field of choosing leading without any monopolization for group or sect. The best on is who will lead… because Dental Association work is voluntary job should neglect self and offer benefits for all dentists… union should be the voice to defense on dentists at any time or place.

Report on the Establishment of Iraqi Dental Association

1- Iraqi Dental Association was established according to law of dentists union no. (38) 1970 depending on the acceptance of general affairs of doctors union about the request of dentists union to establish an association for them and the necessity to put special rules to work in this job and membership in union, obligating with discipline, determining the union resources and raising occupation level with publishing law in newspaper Al-Waqa’ issued in 4/3/1970.

2- Because of the long time of issued law of Iraqi Dental Association no. (38) of 1970, and the increasing in  no. of dentists also to cope with development in dentist job with the modernization at his occupation and social level, the mentioned law was abolished and issued  a modified law of Dental Association no (46) for 1987.

3-Belong to law of Iraqi Dental Association no. (46) for 1987, the interior system is issued for Iraqi Dentists Union issued in Iraq to implement what contain in thirty six items from Dental Association no. (46) for 1987, Union Council assigned on it in session dated in 18/4/ 1988.

4- Also it was issued law of insurance for dentists no. (84) for 1986, it aim to submit a supporting  for needy peoples of dentists or for their families.

5- Association submitted its services for all dentists in various scientific, vocational and social fields by establishing scientific  conferences and symposiums and arranging relations of members with government staff and other establishments and defense on their rights and enable them to do their duties and strength their relations with union and associations of dentists in Arab Nation and World.
